...but I love to collect ideas - design is everywhere and I love it all. This is a Manhattan living room designed by Iain Halliday. I admire little details in rooms (and, really, in all things) - when there is no possibility of something being overlooked. Like how in this room the window seat is upholstered in a nice, muted leather. The Louis XVI bergeres are upholstered in ikat. Wire chair by Knoll - love! - and rug is Beauvais Carpets. All in all, love this room and all its subtle vibrancy.24 February 2011
