Grid House in Brazil.
This house is ridiculously amazing. "The Grid House" was conceptualized by the architects at Forte, Gimenes & Marcondes Ferraz with a "single-story home" in mind that meshed nature, space and privacy. I didn't know a single-story home could be so large?! The structural grid was developed according to the topography of the land. I do not really even know what to write about this one... it is simply... unbelievable. A planned out unbelievable feat of the mind really. Who can conceptualize something this vast? This in tune with its surroundings? Amazing! Read about it here.

Swinging Porch.
I saw this in last month's Traditional Home and think it is such a great concept for a screened-in porch - a perfect mash of indoors & out!
