Grid House in Brazil.

This house is ridiculously amazing. "The Grid House" was conceptualized by the architects at Forte, Gimenes & Marcondes Ferraz with a "single-story home" in mind that meshed nature, space and privacy. I didn't know a single-story home could be so large?! The structural grid was developed according to the topography of the land. I do not really even know what to write about this one... it is simply... unbelievable. A planned out unbelievable feat of the mind really. Who can conceptualize something this vast? Summer Swim.

First day of summer so I thought I'd throw a couple really great pools up on the ole' blog. The top pool house is owned by the the director of Coach - I love, love, love it. It is in my design scrapbook - placed in years and years ago.

Fun Wallpaper in the Soho Grand

I like the look of this Soho Grand Hotel bathroom - designed by William Sofield in 1996. He used a fun wallpaper from the New Yorker magazine cartoonist Saul Steinberg. Good Clean Fun.
